Now red. Bella picked geranium red for her bed. I stained my bedroom furniture, painted Bella's new bed, painted the door desert glow, my room peacock blue and bought TONS of stuff that is not put up yet.

We are slowly getting there, but are so happy in our new home even if it's messy. More blogs to come with more progress.

This is what we are doing. I, for the last couple of years have tried to get the kids in soccer but have always missed the deadline, not this year. Thought I'd show them, but it sure showed me. I had no idea that two kids in soccer takes OVER your life. And get this. I was so pleased to have remembered to sign them up for soccer on time I even did T-ball for Bell and coach pitch for Jarom. I thought I was on a roll. Soccer is almost done, just two more weeks and then the day of Bella's last soccer game is the day of her first T-ball game. Wish the kids could be on the same teams.

I am very glad I signed them up. Jarom has said it is the one sport he wants to play and Bella is a natural.

N - A - N - A spells cookie jar

Our Nana always has kisses, dum dums, lunch, dinner, crafts and TONS of holiday decor, most of it homemade. She sure put a smile on these faces, long lost cousins. My little sister was in town for the day so we met up at Nana's.

Before leaving Nana's, she had a little basket of goodies for the kids. She is just the cutest, thoughtful little Nana ever. So glad the kids know their Great Nana. She is just the happy slappy singing painting tap dancing little lady. We love her.

He loves this weird animal he got from grandma, he thinks it's a mouse.

For months all he talked about was his cake. He really wanted a blackspiderman cake, along with every other super hero. He was pretty thrilled when he saw this.

But more thrilled when he opened up a Green Goblin.

White Easter

Our local grocery store has a cute little egg hunt every year

Happy Peeps found their baskets. Fun game even though just about everything they do get for Easter is on the couch, it's still fun to find the basket and see what extra hidden little treat you might find. My kids found another book and cookie-pop.

And our favorite Easter tradition is Easter Dinner plus the much anticipated Easter egg hunt with my Aunt and Uncle. They spoil us, and we love every moment of it.

Grapefruit



I love your color, scent and sweet nectar.
I love that whenever I eat you I must sit on my front doorsteps and soak in the sun
or if it's cold find the one chair in the house that has the sun shining on it through the window.
But today was even better. Now in my new home I got to sit in MY backyard soaking up the sun in my underwear - heaven.

I think another reason I love this fruit so much is because it makes me sit still for a moment. My own little blissful time out. Grapefruit, same time, same place.
