Open roads, take me home

After driving all night through Utah, Colorado, New Mexico had the
most gorgeous blazing sunrise against the still, clam blue desert.
Couldn't have been happier to see this!!! We can finally answer YES to
that dreaded question - are we there yet?!
Cadillac Ranch! Jarom was so excited to be somewhere in real life from his beloved
Ripley's Believe it or Not books.
The kids scoured the ground for not quite empty spraypaint cans.
A sweet bystander saw this and gave the kids her brand new spraypaint cans.

Jarom wrote the birthday boy's name.

After our longest drive yet we were welcomed to my sister's home in
Fort Worth where we vegged out on veggie burgers, fruit and sweet
potatoes fries. The kids all ran off with a playmate or two so we
parents had no problem sitting back and catching up. Of course I have
no pictures of that.

Woke to kids laughing. Looked out my window and found this.
Yahoo! So excited to be here for a week xo
