Each day in school Jarom gets a face: smiley, straight, or frowny. We like to reward the good behavior, so when he had one whole week of smileys, he wanted to go to Pirate Island, the new restaurant in town that's like Chuck E. Cheese's meets The Mayan or Rainforest Cafe. The kids have been wanting to go there ever since they started construction on it (it took the place of one of our old dollar theaters) and had the coming soon! pirate sign up. They counted down the months.

yeah they got to go! i am especially happy that that means five smileys! the second picture down is about the cutest thing i've ever seen. also i love how in the first one bella's smile is a touch nervous like she's almost overwhelmed or something. what a great place. utahns know how to do it up right for the younguns. i love that oey went in his spideyman pjs. jarom's big smile is priceless.
